The Australian Social Cohesion Summit 2025, hosted by the Scanlon Foundation Research Institute, is a landmark national event that will take place in Melbourne on Thursday, 16 October 2025.

With the theme “Building On Our Strengths: The Role of Youth, Women, and Neighbourhoods in Fostering Social Cohesion,” the Summit brings together leaders and changemakers from across government, research, business, and community sectors.

Through a day of dynamic keynotes, thought-provoking panels, and hands-on sessions, the Summit will spotlight lived experience, amplify local voices, and explore collaborative solutions to one of Australia’s most pressing challenges—how we create a more inclusive, resilient, and cohesive society.
